Blair Ridge Baptist Church

The purpose of Blair Ridge Baptist Church is to glorify God, the Father and His Son, by intentionally training individuals to know Jesus personally; worship Him enthusiastically; apply His biblical truth regularly; share their lives and resources generously; reproduce this purpose faithfully. (I Corinthians 10:31; John 17:3; Psalm 100:1-3; Colossians 3:1,2; Matthew 28:19,20; Romans 12:13; II Timothy 2:2)

Pastor Troy’s testimony: I was 5 years old when I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior. My father joined the navy during the Vietnam War and our family moved to Southern California to live near the naval base. My mother and I began attending a Conservative Baptist Church where we heard the Bible preached faithfully each week. While at that church I came to realize that I was a sinner and I needed Jesus Christ to save me. I placed my trust in Him for salvation and was baptized. In 2000 Lorie & I began attending Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant IA. God used our time at CBC to call me into vocational ministry. God called us to Blair Ridge in December of 2007.
